The "Strike" foldaway rod holder (patent pending) is unique to Catchmore Fishing Tackle. It is a simple but effective design which combines outstanding rod holding capabilities with easy storage and handling. The inner steel core is powder coated to provide corrosion resistance and then layered with an addtional PVC coat (red portion) to prevent scratching and damage to the rod. The "Strike" rod holder design, unlike conventional fixed holders, allows the rod to rebound from a bite and set the hook providing a much higher catch ratio. This rod holder is suitable for hard ground applications with an optional beach extension.
